 Yan Geng 颜赓 is a filmmaker based in Sydney Australia. Grew up in different places, Yan developed an interest in exploring the spaces/places that he is or once was in and what it means to the people who exist between the past and present. After completing a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Business and Economics, he turned to filmmaking as a medium to express and explore who he is as a person. He is currently in the final year of Bachelor of Screen Production at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS).

between moving image. was formed with an idea of creating projects that are original, diverse and experimental. To him, filmmaking doesn’t stem from grand ideas, he tends to find inspirations that exist in the tender moments in life. He hopes to create projects that explore the relationship between people and the environment in which we live in.

想用一些途径来记录下某些时候的经历与所思，对于我来说 moving image 是其中的一种方式，虽然不是唯一的方式。人的一生唯有生与死是所谓的开始与尽头，剩下的时间可能都是在一切的之间度过，希望在这之间当中感知和记录身边的这些人和发生的那些事。
